                         Offering tours October 2018

This special tour presents spooky and sinister ghostly experiences at the haunted cave from the past and present. Guides, wearing Victorian clothing, present the original Crystal Cave tour from the 1870's and also the curious and unexplained incidences that occurred inside the cave and on the cave grounds in the 1800's.

Tourists can go back in time and see Historic Crystal Cave by the glow of hand-held lantern light.  You will also hear stories about Crystal Cave that have never been part of the modern day cavern tour.  This unique tour will provide great family entertainment.

Crystal Cave celebrated its 140th Anniversary with a special

"Discovery Days" celebration on Saturday, July 16, 2011.

The event was intended to thank all of the people who have visited Crystal Cave over the years.

This special event began with a two-hour "live" broadcast at Crystal Cave hosted by WEEU-AM radio personality Charlie Adams.  During the broadcast Pennsylvania State Senator Judy Schwank presented a citation to Crystal Cave in commemoration of the 140th Anniversary of the tourist attraction.

The festivities continued with "special" extended cave tours that included archival stories and folklore about Crystal Cave from the 1800's, door prizes and drawings for prizes, a Grand Prize for the 140th person who purchased a Crystal Cave admission ticket, a scavenger hunt for rocks from around the world, "old-fashioned" chicken and waffle dinners, birthday cake, and movies taken at Crystal Cave in the 1940's.  Kids could also make their own Crystal Cave stalagmite and pan for gemstones.
